We in Ohio know about the longstanding successful program of the Ohio Historical Society, which has brought experts in preservation topics to communities around the state. Now, a wider audience is aware of the initiative.
In the January 2013 issue of Old House Journal, the Building Doctor program is referenced in an article, which includes an interview with one of the doctors, Mariangela Pfister of the Ohio Historic Preservation Office. The article discusses how the program is executed, and its uniqueness as the only one of its kind sponsored by a state historic preservation office.
In 2013, the Building Doctor is slated to visit the communities of Ellsworth, Groveport, Hamilton, Port Clinton, Vermilion, and Xenia. Click here for more information on the program.
