A huge thank-you to our new friends on Facebook, a number of whom pushed us “over the top” of our 1,000 Facebook fan goal in mid-January.

Preservation Ohio has a long-time commitment to social media, being the first statewide or national preservation organization with a blog, and one of the very first on MySpace, Twitter, and Facebook. Currently, more people follow our statewide organization on social media than any other.

By building this network, we have worked to be in a position to assist local preservation organizations, advocacy efforts, and event planners get information to as many people, and as inexpensively, as possible.

Our Facebook Page remains open and available for posting by anyone with relevant information or news to share about preservation-related matters in Ohio. If you have information you would like us to share via Twitter, please drop us a line at: tpalmer@preserveohio.com.
